Extract from the Teachers’ Feedback
Most Teachers felt that the ‘National Science Day’ event was very informative and interesting to them about oceans and ‘the lecture content was highly relevant to understand causes & effect of climate change’. “It is highly informative, got interesting facts about oceans marine life, and realized our responsibility to reduce carbon emission” said, Ms. Niva Deo, Kamal Model Senior Secondary School.

To increase awareness and knowledge about climate change they would like to organize workshops in school, related to marine technology in relation with climate change, and ask students to make project, models on the relevant topics. Teachers were willing to conduct many activities in their campus like; quiz competition on Climate Change and Marine Ecosystem, etc. and arrange lectures by experts and debate on Climate Change relevant topics.
When asked what did you like most about this CCNZ event, Ms Shweta Frederick, St. Thomas Girls Sr. Sec. School said, “Highly comprehensive knowledge about complex processes, Govt. policies, planning and methodologies presented in a lucid engaging way is impact meaningful”

Almost all school teachers agreed that it has been knowledgeable and most effective lecture series and their expectations were fully met; Impactful lectures and content of the lectures which was highly relatable to them and true. Finally, some suggestions by them like; to CCNZ address issues about waste management, soil degradation, plastic pollution and relating these to Technology Day which falls on 11th of May.
