Wokshop on Awareness for Implementing Sustainable Development Goals: Beating Plastic Pollution

The Climate Change Research Institute Awareness organized ‘Environment and Earth Care’ series lecture on Plastics: Bon or Boon? in the Workshop on Implementing Sustainable Development Goals in India: Beating Plastic Pollution. Prof. R.K. Khandal, President, R&D and Business Development, India Glycols Limited, Ex-VC, UPTU & Former Director, SIIR delivered the Guest Lecture. Prof. Khandal shared his vast experience in evolving Plastic policy in India while he was in the Government of India. Global plastic scenario, causes of pollution and how he implemented solutions to plastic pollution was described.

Prof. D.P. Agrawal, Chairman, GC, CCRI & Former Chairman, UPSC chaired the Proceedings. Dr. (Mrs.) Malti Goel, Chief Executive, Climate Change Research Institute (CCRI) extended warm welcome to all the dignitaries, invitees and students present and introduced the Theme. The workshop was participated by the large number of participants. We got fabulous appreciation at the end, while interacting with the participants, who were keen to participate in our upcoming events and workshops.
